It started with one single house in the Pedersgata street in 2009.

Houses from 1890-1920 were restored and rebuilt, sometimes expaned and redeveloped. Empty plots were been filled with new buildings.

Now the street comprises more than 50 renovated houses and more than 80 restaurants, shops, cafés and bars. The street has revitalized this part of town and become a regional gourmet destination.

Austigard Arkitektur has been lead architect during this development, working out plans for redevelopment, securing difficult planning permissions in collaboration with preservation authorities, and planning execution.
